Yes this 90’s electric EV, phev, hybrid… etc, was made by BMW in the early 90s in the wake of the small fuel crisis which began around this time. The predecessor to the i3 this E1 is a great looking and efficient little BMW. Carbon tub and monocoque design means this small car is extremely efficient (so long as you dont use the heater…)
