Sooo i purchased the 350z nearly 8 years ago, was a completely standard gt model. Had a vision of where i wanted to go with it but over the past 18 months its surpassed anything i could of imagined, i think lockdown and the coronavirus is to blame for that.
Its my only car so its my daily car 365 days a year, dont understand why anyone wouldnt want to drive a car like this every single day.
All the work carried out on the car has been done by my main man cliff Anderson or myself, there is nothing that cliff cannot so its been amazing watching him make my dreams come true, all the paintwork and some body mods have been done by ds body repairs dave skelton who is local to me.
Daves paint work is amazing as you can see with the shine on the car, makes it easy to look after.
Sooo the kit on the car is the nismo v2 front bumper, smoothed out badge recess, with canards, dave chopped the bumper down to make the rocket bunny splitter fit the v2, something iv never seen on a zed.
The vented bonnet with bulge came from poland and was an absolute nightmare to fit and get right but with some time and effort cliff managed to make it fit pretty perfect.
We purchased some rocket bunny front arches but then we realised the arches sat sooo high so had to make a fibreglass lip extension to make them sit lower, at the same time cliff made a fibreglass mould to join on to the v2 front bumper so the arches didnt just look like they stuck out past the bumper.
We purchased some rear 50mm overfenders from chris and bob at tarmac sports which were a pretty perfect fit, then ordered some mazda rx7 carbon vents to out on the rear quarter panels which would join into the side skirts and custom made side steps for a more aggressive look.
The rear end then got treat to tarmac sportz top secret diffuser, we added the g35 skyline rear spats, and made some custom fibreglass fins for the diffuser again for the aggressive look, we then swapped up the dual exit exhaust for a ln isr single exit and done a bumper tuck to get rif of the other bumper exhaust shroud.
Next we added the ducktail spoiler and rear window louver complete with chopping down a mitsubishi evo spoiler for the roof of the car, which dave painted black, also had the door handles painted black, side repeaters, headlights and taillights blackend to suit the rest of the build.
We added carbon wing mirror covers and B pillar covers to match.

But something was missing, iv allways been a fan of big wings and the big country labs wing was certainly one i had wanted for ong time, sooo we contacted driftworks who do the wing but i was told it wouldn’t fit with my ducktail spoiler soooo we thought well we will just make it fit, we had to chop alot of the ducktail away so we could fit the big country labs wing brackets inside the ducktail itself, we were soooo pleased with the outcome looks amazing. Next i decided it was time to go down the airlift route, sooo opted for the airlift 3p to give us individual adjustment on all 4 corners, once we had decided on that it was time to contact the guys at rimscarnated and a gentleman called isaac, rimscarnated make genuine custom wheels from scratch so i found 2 wheel designs i liked and wanted the love child beteeen the 2, isaac and the guys there do a cad drawing of exactly how your rims will look before they even start making them, so we made a few adjustments and when i was happy the wheels started to be made, 4 months from start to finish in the middle of a pandemic wasnt at all bad.
In the mean time we started messing around with the boot build and interior, bride seats went in, omp steering wheel, nismo gear knob.
I then purchased some bride material and cliff started wrapping the boot build and parts of the interior, we made custom gear and handbrake gaiters along with wrapping the center console and headlinning.
Once the rims and airlift had been fitted so was just a case of finishing some little parts of and the car was ready to go to its first show with its new look 😁.
