Small vans and commercial vehicles are limited to 60 mph on many national speed limit roads and as such ANPR and the Speed Camera network are now united to send fines to those drivers who are seen going faster than 60mph in their van or commercial vehicles. Following on from our recent post on the most profitable speed cameras in Britain it looks set that more and more fines are to be issued to drivers who might be unaware of the speed restrictions on their vehicles.
