Celica

September 19, 2013 by admin

The Celica has been powered by various four-cylinder engines. The most notable change that we should take into consideration occurred in 1985, this was when the car’s drive layout was changed from rear wheel drive to front wheel drive. During the first few generations of the cars legacy, American Celicas were powered by many different versions of Toyota’s R series engines. The four-wheel drive turbocharged model was made around the years 1986 to 1999. Variable Valve Timing did not arrive until the late 90’s in Japanese models, and became standard from 2000 on. Through the seven generations of this brand, the model has gone through many changes and re-designs, including the Toyota Celica Supra also known as the Toyota Supra. The Celica was available as a notchback coupe and a liftback coupe, as well as a stylish convertible.

The Toyota Celica is a good car for any middle-class citizen, it is dependable, stylish and affordable. Comfort goes a long way with this model and is a good choice for those long road trips to the shore or to visit the Grand Canyon. Gas mileage is a plus with it getting 32.4 miles a gallon on average. This sleek model will bring a smile to your face every time you go out to your garage and your neighbors will be envious of such a wonderful car. I have found this vehicle to be quite enjoyable and have yet to experience a let down. The air conditioning is powerful, the stereo system is surround sound and as I drive through the neighborhood I feel as if I am the queen of the block. I am truly happy with this vehicle and would recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable car that gets good gas and makes you feel like a million bucks.
