Time to sell my pride and joy. I bought the car in December 2016 and spent many months restoring rust issues. Main area of concerns were both rear arches. Both were replaced using genuine Mazda rear quartet panels.
Engine:
Full rebuild by Cliff from RX-Worx, incl. all soft seals replaced and tolerances assessed.
Rotor housings resurfaced
All 3 side irons replaced with great condition used parts, originals worn beyond OEM tolerances.
Side irons lapped to brand new factory-like finish
Oldone Large Street Ports on irons + housings.
4 x new main bearings (2 x stationary, 2 x rotor)
Pair of great condition used rotors as originals had side seals ground flush due to nodding rotating assembly from severe bearing wear.
Good used e-shaft, required from damage caused by excessive bearing wear
ABS delete kit:
OEM ABS module removed and direct custom hardline brake kit fabricated incl.adjustable brake bias adjustable valve. System flushed and replenished with ATE dot4 TYP200 racing fluid.

No rust on underside, there was a little however it was cut out and replaced.

Bad points, needs a new release bearing, I already have the replacement part. Still works just a little noisy.
Currently there’s an issue with the car starting, it’s an electrical fault, I’ve check the car starter motor and it’s fine, I think it’s a mapping issue.
The car has recently be compression test and was running 100-110psi on and chambers, so definitely not that problem. I’m awaiting compression testing figures.
The car is located in Edinburgh and can be delivered.
Open to offers, I’ve lost the love and my work doesn’t permit me the time to spend time on cars anymore.
I know what it’s worth, know what I’ve spent and have an idea what I’d like for it.
